Help engage and enrich students after your Ending the Silence presentations. Text, Talk, Act can be done as a follow-up activity (or stand-alone activity) to help get students talking about mental health and how they can help themselves and others. We work with NAMI Chapters to provide an out-of-the-box solution that reaches students on an interactive level.

With a Text, Talk, Act subscription, you will receive a customized activity to use throughout the year. At any given time, youth can text into our platform with your chapter’s unique keyword. Their responses will be provided to you in a quarterly data report, so you can keep a pulse on the students’ needs in your community.

With a subscription, we customize the resources that students receive in the text messages to include those resources available through your NAMI Chapter and in the community. With the information delivered via text messages, students will be able to save these resources to their phones for future access.

You’ll also receive a Facilitator Lesson Plan, complete with a one-hour training video, to help you quickly learn and train your Ending the Silence presenters in the activity.

Text, Talk, Act helps to change the culture of a community, as youth are more prepared to identify warning signs in their peers and have the knowledge and skills to know how to support them in their need for help. In addition, Text, Talk, Act makes youth feel more comfortable talking about mental health and reaching out for help.

Subscriptions are available for a yearly basis. Cost is dependent on the geographic area of your NAMI Chapter. Contact us for a free quote.
